Legal

Privacy policy.

This page says what this website learns about you, why, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Odexer.

The controller is Odexer, s. r. o.; its full identification is in the Terms and conditions.

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we receive what you put into it. Required: what you need, your name, your email and your message. Optional: company, country, phone, Odoo version, Odoo edition and timeline. The form also sends the page language and the time you opened it. Our server sees your IP address and uses it to protect the form from abuse.

Why, and on what basis

We use this data to answer your inquiry and to prepare a possible cooperation. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is also our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and keeping the form free of spam (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry for as long as we need it to handle the inquiry and its follow-up. Then we delete it. Data from spam protection and from the server is kept only for a short technical period.

Who else processes it

  • Our hosting provider, on whose servers the website and the form run.
  • Our email provider, which delivers your inquiry to us.
  • Google, through reCAPTCHA, which protects the form from spam. reCAPTCHA sends data about your browser and your visit, including your IP address, to Google.
  • Google, through Google Analytics, only after you agree in the cookie bar.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, for its rectification or erasure, and for restriction of its processing. You can ask for a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing that rests on our legitimate interest. A consent you gave can be withdrawn at any time. You can also complain to the data protection supervisory authority.

Cookies and local storage

The site stores three choices in your browser: your language, light or dark mode, and your answer to the cookie bar. They only make the site behave the way you chose. After you send the form, a cookie lets the confirmation page show what you sent.

Analytics is different. The cookie bar asks you first, and we load Google Analytics only if you agree. It sets its own cookies and shows us, in general terms, how the site is used. We see which pages are opened, how visitors arrived, roughly where they are, and what kind of device and browser they use. We read it as statistics, not as a record of you.

You can change your mind at any time. Open Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, or delete the cookies in your browser. The site works the same without analytics.
