02 / 07Build & customize

Start clean. Build what your business actually needs.

Build is a new Odoo implementation, from the first conversation about your process to go-live. Customize is what we add when standard Odoo does not express how your business works.

When you need it

  • You have chosen Odoo and want it implemented once, properly.
  • Standard Odoo covers most of your process, and the rest is what makes your business different.
  • Planning, pricing or approvals follow rules that no standard setting expresses.
  • Teams keep the real process in spreadsheets beside the ERP.
  • A second phase is due, and it needs engineers who can read what was built in the first.

Application

Build & customize.

Business first. Code second. Where standard Odoo fits the process, we configure it. Where it does not, we build the missing part as custom modules.

We work with Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, on current and legacy versions.

What we do

  • Discovery and process design.
  • System architecture and configuration.
  • Custom modules, workflows and business logic.
  • Reports and changes to the interface.
  • Data migration from the system you are leaving.
  • Testing, rollout and go-live.
  • Improvement after launch.

How it connects

An implementation begins on the business layer. The Odoo page shows the areas of a business we map before we configure anything.

On the application layer, three services meet this one. Where the new Odoo has to exchange data with other systems, Connect covers the integrations. Repeatable steps become workflows in Automate. Custom code is also what a later upgrade has to carry forward, and that is the subject of Migrate & upgrade.

On the platform layer, the system needs a place to run and a controlled way to change: Run and Deploy. An implementation that was started elsewhere and never finished is a case for Rescue.
